About Me

Hello, I'm Roland, I'm a CELTA-qualified English teacher from the UK.

I have over ten years experience teaching English to both children and adults. I've taught in training schools and privately to students 1-to-1, in small groups and in large classes of over 30 students.

My last job was teaching online to students in China which was wonderful because I lived in China for 7 years so understand Chinese culture and its education needs very well. It was lovely to meet and have fun with so many new Chinese children. I've travelled to many countries around the world and have a good understanding of different cultures and languages.

I always try to make sure my students enjoy my lessons so they are designed to be as interactive and as fun as possible so we can enjoy learning English together.

I'm currently in the UK (UTC 00:00) and offer classes to students all around the world. Let's have fun while improving your English and getting to know each other.
